Lange Companies is currently looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Team.

In this position, we are seeking a dynamic BI Analyst who blends creative thinking with technical expertise to drive data-driven insights and solutions. In this role, you will pull data from multiple sources, collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, and transform complex data into clear, actionable insights. Through compelling visualizations and effective communication, you will enable data-informed decision-making across the organization. We are looking for someone who will own this role, bringing their own approach to data management, analysis, and strategy.

This opportunity is available in the following location: St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Extract, analyze, and manipulate data from various sources (databases, APIs, cloud systems) to create comprehensive datasets for analysis.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the business.
• Present data findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner that can be understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactively identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in the data to drive continuous improvement in business processes.
• Take ownership of the BI function, driving the strategy for data collection, integration, and reporting to support business growth.
• Continuously refine and improve data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Stay current with BI trends, tools, and best practices to innovate the company’s data strategy.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/​Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (required).
• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role (required).
• Proven experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and data manipulation languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Ability to extract data from diverse sources (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud systems) and synthesize it into cohesive reports.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into insights for stakeholders of all levels.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking in how data can be leveraged to solve business challenges.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of driving the BI function with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/​Experience):

• Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

• Knowledge of data governance and best practices in data management.
